to be fair to StockXpert we should opt out from sub sales at SV too. I did.

Agreed.
-
Me too, and I have already seen results. Before I had only sub. sales, and now I have had the equal amount of sales with standard pricing instead.
-
OK, I will do it but it will take a bit of time.
-
OK, I will do it
-
I didn't realize there is an opt out for all images. That was easy.

I wrote this in another thread but I guess I should repeat it here....
Note that the opt out option only affects future uploads!
Previous uploaded images must be manually changed one by one.
I got this reply from SV support:
"Thank you for contacting SnapVillage.
Please note that the ‘default price’ setting only effects future uploads, not your published images. If you changed your default price setting to not allow subscription downloads, this will not affect the images already in your portfolio. To change the price option of images currently in your portfolio, you will need to change the price of each image individually. You can do this on the 'published' page of your 'my portfolio'.
The missing 2007 royalty statement is a display issue only. We still have records of your 2007 royalty earnings. We will be paying all outstanding 2007 royalties in the next week or so. We realize that contributors still need access to these records. This is a site error caused by the changing year. We are working to fix it ASAP.
Our apologies for the inconvenience and worry this must have caused you. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns."

Can someone direct me to the original thread, so I know whats going on? (seriously, I've been out of the loop lately and I don't want to be a Lemming)
If we are opting out of subscription sales from StockXpert and Snap, what about Shutterstock? and some of iStock prices are like subscription sales too ?
I must have missed something (sorry, I'm trying to morph out of a rural/family/work/Christmas holiday induced vacumn)
Regards
Penny

The original thread is Are things going well in microstock?
And there are two spin-off too, called How to defend the contributor rights? and Which is the upload optimus strategy for microstock contributors?
