I was supposed to receive my SnapVillage royalty by Dec. 21, but it has yet to show up at PayPal.
Anyone else having a SnapVillage payment problem?
-
Only if not selling enough photos on SV to warrant a payment is a problem ;-)

No payment received by me either.
This might be the reason why:
"When will I be paid?
Once you make $10 in royalties, you will be paid forty five days following the calendar month in which the amount licensed exceeds $10. For example, if your royalty balance is $250 at 06/30/2007, you will receive the full $250 on 08/15/07. If you make royalties in July this will accumulate and go towards your next payment. If your balance never exceeds $10, you will receive your royalties forty five (45) days following the end of the calendar year...."
Nonetheless I have sent a note to support.
Edit: All of my monthly royalty statements say 'not yet processed".

This just received:
Dear David,
We sincerely apologize for the delay in sending your royalty payment. We are having some technical problems with PayPal. Our team is working with PayPal to resolve this and will send you your payment as soon as possible. I will let you know when we can give you a more specific estimate of when you will receive your royalty payment.
Thank you for your patience.
Sincerely,
Jess

That's freakin ridiculous.

Yes, and they offer PayPal as the ONLY payment option - no Moneybookers and no checks. I e-mailed them twice and on both occasions they made it clear to me that they will not be offering any other payment options soon. This effectively excludes many photographers, like myself, from countries that cannot receive payments through PayPal. Just more proof that they have no intention to become a major INTERNATIONAL player in the MicroStock industry anytime soon.

Just got my first Microstock payout ironically enough from SV. They paid out the $1.5 commission I was due at the end of 2007

I had an end of the year payment there as well. SV has a lot of things going for it, but they seem to have misunderstood some basic ideas, lack of payment alternatives being one. Having been in beta for more than six months, one would think they have had time to get some experience and listen to some advise, but alas....

I just got my $3.00 royalty :) nice it came automatically.
