Title: SV - invalid characters in file name
Post by: madelaide on November 04, 2007, 17:56
I went upload four images of a series in SV. Filenames are "OrchidBlueSatin - 1.jpg", "OrchidBlueSatin - 2.jpg", etc., but the upload form says "invalid characters in the file name".  The "-" is a simple "-", I use it all the time in my series, I even have other images in SV with it.  Any clues?

Update: I tried to upload just one file and it worked.

Regards,
Adelaide

I had the same problem yesterday. Tried several times, never worked, quit in frustration and two hours later all worked fine.

I tried everything (including removing spaces or using ";" instead of commas) but nothing works there!!

Does underscore work?  I was told that it was a safe one to use?

Spaces and - were never an issue before.  I manage to upload two images together in that same series.  I'll wait for their review to upload more.

I will report the problem anyway, together with the fact that they read only the first word in my keywords.  IS is not alone anmore....
