Title: Best Software for NEF

Any tips whats the best software free or cheap to process my NEF files from my Nikon D7200 have uploaded Capture NX  but disappointed with it . still using an old very slow version of PS to finish of JPEG's.

any help appreciated.

I've gone adobe creative cloud £10 a month so not cheap/free but does have the Nix plugins free  but I was very disappointed when they stopped supporting Capture NX I'd still be using it if I hadn't changed pc and lost the product key. Once you got the "knack" I found Capture a very efficient piece of software to use.
