Title: Do I need to keep JPG Archive for CushyStock?
Post by: antoniodalbore on October 10, 2008, 07:46
Dear All,

I just purchased a license for CushyStock and started to familiarize with it.
I have tried to import a portfolio from an agency and Cushy is asking me to match each image he retrieve from the web with a local JPG file.
Is this meaning that I need to feed Cushy with all the folders that contain the JPG images?

Is this also meaning that i need to keep for Cushy a set of folder with all JPEG for his management?

If YES this is quite disturbing for me as my Archive is made of RAW+TIFF, all JPG are deleted after submission...

Thanks,

Antonio

If you need to import your portfolio you should have local copy of uploaded images. In the sequel you can erase all the uploaded images, also you needn't store images uploaded and keyworded by Cushy Stock.
i.e. you need stored JPEG files for import portfolio only.

Thanks for the reply Unicorn,

but this is really time wasting...
As I don't need to do almost anything with my already uploaded pics it should be good if during the portfolio import Cushy could import also the watermarked images.

Hm.. It's a good idea... I'll add this functionality to the next version of CS.
