I did the idiot thing and forgot to change the time on one of my cameras, which is important for editorial (looks as though I took some daylight shots in the middle of the night). I've got a couple of hundred files to change.
I've Googled and see quite a few old suggestions about what to use to sort this (I don't have LR). Some are expensive and do much more than I need, and some of the free ones are too techy (command line etc), so scary.
Has anyone got experience of a cheap and easy prog/app/utility to change a batch of EXIF date/times?

TIA

Did you look into Adobe's monthly plan for Creative Cloud?  I think you can get a one month subscription and use LR to take care of what you need.

Graphic Converter for Mac OS X does this.  It has options for both setting the time and adjusting it forward or back by whatever value you request.  And it can apply changes to sets of images.  It's inexpensive and convenient for a bunch of tasks.  But no help if you're on Windows.

If I recall right you have a Mac. Try iPhoto if I remember you can select more than a picture with "command" and then change in batch all the pictures with the same date. Yes is possible in iPhoto... http://support.apple.com/kb/PH2365?viewlocale=en_US

surely if such a thing can be done in LR it can be done in Bridge/ACR (are you using ACR?)

Don't the Nikon & Canon raw converters do this?

ExifToolGUI from http://u88.n24.queensu.ca/~bogdan/exiftoolgui515.zip

You can define a time shift and apply it to a batch of photos. Very useful for forgetful globetrotters - been there, done that, got the dodgy timestamps!
