Hey Guys,
i am reading in this forum for quite a while now and I always stumble upon the problem  that you want to send your files to multiple agencies at once and you are looking for solution.

I would like to present you a tool, me and a couple friends developed for photojournalists and stock photographers.

newbielink:http://www.distribuddy.com [nonactive]

Distribuddy allows you to automatically send your images to as many agencies as you like. Straigt forward and lighting fast.

We even have a lightroom plugin where you can submit your images directly via lightroom without even touching any ftp client.

I would love to hear your suggestions and ideas to make our tool more convenient for you as stock photographers.

We offer 30 days of free trial where you can try our tool out :)
If you guys like it, we will make a special deal for the microstockgroup members.

Best,
Martin

Hey Martin,

Nice looking distribution tool and exactly like what I've been looking for to distribute our video files.  If I understand the pricing, however, it doesn't seem very affordable for use with video.  For instance, right now I've got 22 video files I need to distribute that add up to approx. 6gb of data.  I want to distribute those files to 10 different distribution partners.  That becomes 60gb of outgoing traffic for just 22 files.  Those 22 files alone put me over your largest package of 30gb which has already hit a pricing point that becomes too expensive for me.  I'd need to see an unlimited traffic plan at a more affordable price point for this to work for me.

Great idea though and best wishes for your success!

Bryan

Yep - nice idea. Had a quick look, I produced 1.2 gig of image files today (when I factor in all of the distribution channels). That's going to put me in the workaholic category. 50 Euro's is a significant expense.

If I lived somewhere with a terrible connection I'd have a another look, however I'm in the UK - I just set the old FTP going last thing at night. If I'm candid its an effort to stay on top of it though, the price is just a bit heavy for me.

Nightmare isn't it - people want something for next to nothing nowadays. Anyone would think I produced images for microstock!

Good luck - Oldhand

Hey Guys,
thanks for your response!

as we just launched yesterday, there is plenty of room for fixes on the pricing.

Distribuddy is a service that becomes important if you have a time problem. As long as your file delivery can take all night, its not that useful for you.

What do you guys need to make it useful for you as stock photographers? Is keywording online something we should look into?

Best,
Martin
