Looks interesting. I would like to try it but they are still working on a Mac version.

ugh...just another browser to have to test all of our apps on...more damned work that I detest!

I have most of my bookmarks in the toolbar. I miss opening a whole folder of bookmarks by middle clicking it. Love that in FF.

I like the design and the fast tab switching/closing. Maybe it would be better if tabs were a bit lower, I don't always use keyboard shortucuts to manipulate them.

I'll stay on FF for now, extensions + the new ubiquity rock

It's lighter, faster, makes better use of screen real estate and is more stable, and best of all, no memory leaks like Firefox.

On the downside, there's no 'reload all tabs' facility and it doesn't show pagerank.

It's a brilliant start, no doubt, but won't replace Firefox for me for a while yet.

It's light years distance from Opera. Which I'm using for good years now. 

It seems this beta version doesn't run java apps yet. I tried with the Alamy uploader and with 123RF java uploader, both display the same error message : "Aucun plugin disponible pour afficher ce contenu" = "no available plugin for this type of content"

Otherwise, I like its simple and uncluttered interface, with more real estate for the displayed content.

It's beta, in other words a preview. When it hits 1.0 we can compare it to anything else out there.

Yep, and it's more an alpha version than a Beta.
I installed it, opened 4 tabs, closed one tab, and it crashed

Also I noticed that the memory management seems pretty bad: if you go in windows task manager you'll notice that it creates many instances of "google chrome", but it does not seem to kill the processes properly when tabs are being closed.

Heads up: By uploading images via Google Chrome you may be inadvertently giving your images away. The EULA explicitly states the following:

11. Content license from you

 By submitting, posting or displaying the content you give Google a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to reproduce, adapt, modify, translate, publish, publicly perform, publicly display and distribute any Content which you submit, post or display on or through, the Services.


11.4 You confirm and warrant to Google that you have all the rights, power and authority necessary to grant the above license.

On the surface, this seems to me a bit underhanded of them.
