Title: Image Keyworder has died
Post by: kruwt on July 16, 2014, 05:45
For a long time I have used Image Keyworder. A great tool for keywording my photos with tons of possibilities (copy/past, multiple files, thesaurus, Alamy mode et cetera).
However, further development and support has already stopped for many years ago.

Till yesterday the software was working fine for me at my Windows 7 computer. However yesterday, after a windows update, Imagekeyworder is not working any longer  :-[.

It is a sad day for me. I will have to look for another keyword tool !!

I use the Leaf's keyword tool.  Works great.

Yeah, I know it. However, you have still to copy the keywords and manage them in your photo images. Image keyworder did this all together!
Thx for your reply !

Keywords are an important part of the organizational workflow for maintaining an image archive that is easy to work with, and one where photos can be found quickly. In an earlier article, I covered some basic keyword strategy and concepts for how you might use keywords to add more meaning to your images. In this article, we’ll concentrate on the procedural side of applying keywords with a look at some essential techniques for adding keywords in Lightroom.

I would never use Lightroom for keywording, as Lightroom puts them in alphabetical order.  At least 2 agencies (Fotolia and Alamy, maybe others too) require keywords in order of importance.

I have never found (yet) an easy keywording software package that leaves the keywords in the order as I type them, so I still do it in Photoshop.
