Title: Lightroom lost export settings
Post by: Phadrea on May 27, 2013, 03:55
I have absolutely no idea why Lightroom is failing to save Jpegs as it has always done. I haven't changed anything but now it has defaulted to exporting Jpegs at lower quality. Also, it fails to save with it's title I have given it in the mettadata as well as creating a separate folder when I specifically ask it to be placed in the same folder with other images. Why has it started creating a separate folder ?

Help!

Worked it out. Not sure why LR did this but I have got my settings back. Tried to delete this post but no way of doing it.

For what it's worth, sometimes things like "losing export presets" in LR are caused by changes in the preferences. For example changing the checkbox in "Preferences->store presets with catalog" will cause Lightroom to look at a different folder for presets etc.. Changing the checkbox back will bring back the presets.

I didn't change or tick anything. All my LR preference settings had defaulted back to factory.
