Title: Looking for a Email Program
Post by: LSD72 on April 21, 2011, 18:50
I am looking for a Program that I can check 4 email accounts from. Screw using outlook...lol.

I asked my brother about Incredimail so waiting to hear from him.

Basically I want something that I click a box and I am reading and sending from one account. Click another Box... same thing with another account. I am tired of hopping from one account to another.. just want it centralized.

Any suggestion on some that I can go look at?

Thanks in advance.

PS.. if it has any bearing on it... between Yahoo and gmail accounts and I primarily use Firefox for my browser.

Since you said "screw outlook" I presume you are on a PC. If not, Mac's Mail program works that way. I forward my yahoo and gmail accounts over to Mail. I can send emails from both accounts, too.

Since you use Firefox, have you considered Thunderbird?

Funny... I actually have Thunderbird loaded and trying it out. One problem but it is not Thunderbirds. Yahoo Mail Classic (free) does not allow for Pop clients. Google is no problem but all the tips and programs for Yahoo do not work. Maybe I can slowly migrate things to a gmail address.

How does that work for getting stock sites to change your email registration? Is it a real pain in the buttock?

I use gmail for this. I only open Mac Mail once a month to clear the server.

I use The Bat, it has all what you want. And it was very easy to setup. Every account has separate inbox etc.
Cheap, and 1 month trial. Good luck.

So far, Thunderbird does all that I need it to do. I set up 2 more email addys in gmail. I think I can get everything to gmail except for facebook. I guess that means my personal yahoo will become my junk catcher just so I can keep the Facebook setup.
