I have just purchased Paint Shop Pro X2 in Corel's website.  The Standard version is selling at US$60 and the Ultimate version (with some extras) at US$100. More here.  There is also a Comparison table between the two and previous versions of PSP.  I haven't tried this version yet, but I have used PSP for years (mostly version 7, still from JASC, but also version 10 we have at work, which is probably much more similar to PS).

I believe those in USA may buy it much cheaper, but here in Brazil the standard version is costing about US$140. Ok, this price is for the packaged version, mine is the download version.

I was "given" three extras: MediaOne Plus, Nik Color Efx Sampler and another I believe it's a tutorial book.

Has anyone used MediaOne? Is it really good to make slide presentations with photos and videos?

I think I have a version of Nik Color Efx that came bundled with my pen tablet, but I never installed it. Is it any good, or just for fun?

I have PSP X and used it in organizing my files.  But, due to all the hype, switched to Photoshop Elements.  Not sure that was a great choice but it's a done deal.  My question for you is about the Pen Tablet.  Did it come with your new version of PSP or was it a separate purchase?  Do you use it with PSP?

Would it work with PSE?

I haven't installed the tablet in the new PC yet but it was a separate purchase.

I have just seen that X2 is for sale on Corel website - mere US$40 for the Standard version, US$70 for the Ultimate.

I've been using Corel PSP for 3 years now and currently use version X2.  I really like it and it does everything I need when paired with Lightroom.  Version X2 has a nice quick and simple HDR feature as well.
I'd recommend it if you don't already own Photoshop Elements.
