There are numerous programs out there that can zoom an image online. Most of them are unsafe for selling stock photography. newbielink:http://www.ajax-zoom.com [nonactive] ( newbielink:http://www.ajax-zoom.com [nonactive]) is a plugin that can be integrated into any photo store running with PHP. It watermarks each zoomed portion of an image and does not require images and image tiles to be loaded into clients browser or be accessed over http in general.

Would such a plugin be usefull for your site? If yes please tell which software solution for your photo store do you use.

For any other opinions thanx in advance...

Since this is your second post (first to unlock the possibility to open a new thread) and you are advertising a paying product ("It is a completely packaged low cost solution") (almost 200 euro for 5,000 images isn't low cost), my opinion is that this is spam.

As far as i can see this forum is about selling images and not giving them away for free. Isn't it? So for some of this people it might be interesting. I'm interesting in this people's opinion and also interesting in software they use to sell their photos. This is important to develop further plugins for this particular software. If you know a better place to ask let me know.

So we have got one opinion stating, that 4 cent an image is way to expensive. This is enlightening. Thanx a lot anyway.

Sounds like nice software. Unfortunately, I only sell photos on the stock sites, no my own website. I do have image galleries, but write the PHP myself.

personally I think it's good to have products being promoted here, but it should be in 'microstock services' I think.

It looks nice but I wonder how much people sell through their own websites??

Good point, are there any information about that in this forum? Does someone sell a noticeable amount of microstocks through their own website?

Seeing as the topic is stock photo zoom, we can chip in...

Magic Touch zooms images and can show a custom watermark. Combine the watermark feature with IP restriction and it becomes a very secure way of displaying high res stock images.

Try our newbielink:http://www.magictoolbox.com/magictouch_watermark/ [nonactive].

See it live on the newbielink:http://www.shotfarm.com/ [nonactive] stock photo site.

It is low cost - from $9 per 20,000 zooms. Try the newbielink:http://www.magictoolbox.com/magictouch/signup/ [nonactive].

One way or another, zoom is an essential feature for maximising stock photo sales.
