Title: Software to easily sort keywords by drag and drop?
Post by: JanNowak on August 31, 2012, 13:05
Is there a software that identifies a coma separated keywords, creates a neat box / button around each keyword with the option to delete it (just like when you fill in the keywords online at let’s say shutterstock or pond5), and then allows these “boxes” to be easily moved about for sorting purpose? Haha I hope you know what I mean

Need I mention the ability to import and export the data is important as well. Maybe some csv edit tool?

I have a csv file with one column filled with hundreds of cells with coma separated keywords. There is no regard to the importance of a keyword within these cells. Now I will be moving my portfolio to agencies where keyword order is important. Sorting the keywords within the csv takes a lot of attention and clicks, for example not to lose a coma, or a letter in the process of reorganizing the keywords by mark, drag, drop. The keywording software for photo or video I came across may have some neat keywording function, but in the end you are stuck with a text field with coma separated keywords. Same as in the csv.

I come from a video world, but photo software may work as well as I could work with metadata on jpg thumbnails.
