I'm wanting to create my own niche stock photo site -- do any of you know of any cheap stock photo software?  I've been drooling over http://www.imagefolio.com/, but its out of budget (for now) so was hoping for something that maybe takes some setting up but with a much cheaper price.

TIA!

I'll be using http://www.oscommerce.com/ to sell my stock images.

I'm currently finishing up another site with OSCommerce and it works great... and it's FREE! It's quite time consuming though cuz I'm not a programmer and I had to go through the 150 page manual and post on the  forums to get some answers. But now that I,m familiar with it, I and conquer the Web! Mouaaaahahahahhaaha.  ;)

WIth OSCommerce and ZenCart, you actually have to do the commercial part and shipping.  Are there applications in which people can pay and the download images just like in any photo stock site?  Photools do that, I think, but their looks is so common that I don't like them.

I don't know about Zencart but you can have automatic downloads with OSCommerce. I have some set up already.

I'll take a look again, because in the examples I saw people were selling framed prints or canvases.
