Title: Adobe Photoshop for free!
Post by: KB on March 27, 2016, 18:39
http://www.earthboundlight.com/phototips/adobe-to-offer-ad-supported-photoshop-free.html (http://www.earthboundlight.com/phototips/adobe-to-offer-ad-supported-photoshop-free.html)
Taking a cue from the abundance of advertising supported applications on Android and iPhone platforms, Adobe is set to release Photoshop for free, with revenue generated from integrated advertising. Yes, advertising in Photoshop. The official announcement is rumored to come soon.

I found this article particularly disturbing, for reasons that will become clear to anyone who reads the entire thing. Is this going to become a trend? I sure hope not! (Of course, I am not helping by spreading it around now, am I?)

Adobe currently does have an open comment period in advance of the new 2016.4.1 Release.

Are they the Fools, or are we?

They had me for a moment or two.  But why post an AFD story 4 days early?

That's why I found it particularly disturbing. But I can understand why, as people generally catch on too easily now.

You obviously don't know that site if you think he's clueless.

The whole thing is a joke, and that's part of it.
