How good are the EPS files created in Inkscape

(1/1)

Braznyc:
I'm asking this question because I'm not sure if Inkscape can create "standard EPS" files.

Do they always open exactly they way they were created in other programs like Illustrator and Affinity Designer?

Any info is welcome.

Thanks!

Don't use gradients. Or at least that's the way it was for me in the past. They just didn't translate well when EPS files are opened in illustrator.

Yes, sure. I don't use gradients or transparency in the designs I save as EPS in Inkscape.

Thank you!

I would also convert strokes (if you have any) to path.

Braznyc:
I didn't think about that, Zsooofija.
Thank you!
