Chichikov,
are you using Lightroom these days, or something else?

Also something else :D
I have noticed something bad with this new version:
I have some problem with the tethering (Nikon), it stops to work.
Lightroom continues to tell me that the camera is connected but nothing happens if I push the button on the camera or the virtual button on the software.
The only solution is to restart the camera, or Lightroom.
I have tried with different cables (even new ones) and it did not solve the problem.
I am curious to know if others have a similar problem.

Sorry, cannot help you, as I never work tethered.
But I believe I have seen some discussions about it, I will keep an eye on it

I also shoot tethered in studio all the time. Lightroom simply does not work with Nikon and Apple in tether mode. I initially got lightroom so i could shoot tethered but i wasted so much time trying to make it work only to get one shot then have to reboot to get another.
I now use CamRanger to shoot tethered wirelessly - works perfectly.

I never had such problems with the precedent versions of LR
CamRanger, I should try it, but I don't see a trial version?
Or does it work only with the CamRanger Unit?

Unfortunately not- a bit pricey as its a piece of wifi equipment that connects to your camera that wirelessly connects to the computer.
Tether Tools has a less expensive system.
There is also sofortbild.com that is free software that depending on your OS and camera that might be an option. Use to be free but they are charging something now thru the app store. I'd post links but travelling and have poor connection.

Sofortbild continuously crashes here
I also have Nikon Camera Control Pro working very well but I really don't like the interface, and the fact that it needs to open the image in another software (using LR with the auto import function).
For me Lightroom has the very big advantage to be able to work in Develop mode while tethered.
The big lack of LR is that there is no live view (come on Adobe!!!)
Nobody is perfect :)
Thank you for your answers.

Have you reported the bug to Adobe?
They are very good at solving these kind of things in upcoming versions, if they are made aware
