Title: tagging software
Post by: gnesher on January 30, 2017, 14:46
Hi,

I've been using SS keyword suggestion tool but frankly it's not great. I was wondering what other tools you might be using? Any advise to improve my tagging would really be appreciated, as I'm starting to suspect this is (at least partly) the cause of my rather low sales across all microstock sites.

For reference this is my current portfolio (a little under 600 photos, selling around 40 a month which is about 10$).

Cheers,
Guy

I think the keyword suggestion tool is pretty great combined with a creative brain. It's great to spark some creativity if the brain is tired.

I developed IPTCStock to save data in the jpeg (and orginal *.tiff file) image

For my own stock images (also small portfolio), i search for similair images and use the english wikipedia to keyword my images. When the image is selected in IPTCstock you can easily fill the required fields and save the image.

There is no other tool that will describe your photo better than your own imagination. But you can combine it with your software to benefit more.
