I would imagine that such deals are kept secret under NDAs, so not much is going to be discussed openly. But I can ask next time ;-)

One thing that I find striking is when you check his port on iStock he is selling very little new work and has slowed his uploads to a trickle.
His work is excellent and bang on trend, it should be in much higher demand.

I guess he's suffering like most of us, with new files disappearing in the Best Match and the Curse of the Download.
There certainly wouldn't seem to be much point in spending money on shoots for iS at the moment.
It would be interesting to know his strategy for dealing with this: it's been going on for far too long now, and full-timers must be getting very nervous, unless his existing files are still selling very well.
<speculation> I guess one strategy could be to shoot, but 'hold' the files until to see if the situaton over there changes, but the longer it goes on (15 months and counting) the more worrying, as lifestyle goes out of date.
<speculation> Or he could be submitting directly to Getty.

Existing files are still selling well and newer stuff sells but slower than before. I've only slowed uploads because of other projects and uploading to Getty directly.

I'd like to see some more info on the graph for the specific images shown - I don't know the scales, but what happened on the 5th bar in the graph? 0 sales for one month? What was different there?

Are you having to upload direct or are you still managing to push work through Vetta?

Acceptance of images nominated for Vetta are about the same. I think the image for this interview is one of them.

I wonder how the Hinterhaus Productions works. I can see perhaps a part time assistant for scheduling, prop finding, hair & makeup, and as studio manager. Then maybe freelance help for location scout. But working with four photographers seems odd to me. Do they share income and photos and ideas? How do they work together?
