I'm already on 2 "fantasy" sites (CC and GL), where I have a pleasant experience submitting, but I never make any money.   That's enough for now I think.  :-)

I think part of the problem is that they're actually too friendly and too easy to upload to, so they've received tons of images - way out of proportion to the number of buyers.

I got my acceptance email today and am working on uploading the images I've made this year and then I'll go back to some files from 2009 and then 2010.  I'm hoping that all this work will pay off.  Just sucks no EPS 10 which inevitably will make my uploading easier.  I've only just started really using transparencies and whatnot this past week.

I do not think that is a problem of incompetence. I am admitted and new assessments take hours. The reason for the waiting of new contributors must be different.
The disappointing sales, very below the BigStock or DP.
I will not upload more, but I will not give low

after over a year wait I sent them an e-mail and was accepted a few days later.
