I'm just wondering if Peter could pop in and give us an update on how things are going at Stockfresh?

I'm curious to know to how far you are now from starting the marketing drive.  I'm hoping that when business really gets going at SF, it might make up for the losses due to commission cuts elsewhere.

Also - is there any chance of a newsletter to contributors occasionally to let us know how things are going?   That would be great if you could manage it.

StockFresh should partner up with Adobe to come out with something extraordinary.

Thanks Peter, your fast responses in here are always much appreciated. :)

Great news about the progress and the upcoming newsletter.  It's good to touch base with the agencies in that way on a regular basis.  I'll try to keep an eye on the blog too (not so keen on FB and Twitter), but if a newsletter hits my inbox, I'm guaranteed to see it.

Thanks so much.  :)

+1 since last June.  Any ideas on when the doors will open to let a few more of us in or will that happen after the marketing drive you mentioned?  Thanks.

I've started your grass-roots marketing campaign.  I always mention StockFresh as a place to buy images when I see people on twitter asking for good microstock agencies.  usually the tweet is something like "anyone know good places for images (not iStock)?"  :)

I've got high hopes for StockFresh as it's the cleanest design I've seen from a buying perspective and not too bad from the contributor side either, once I got used to the interface.

I forgot I actually heard back on my Application. Yup, turned down. No big loss to me. Was waiting so long I was getting ready to tell them to remove my application anyways.

Well, I guess I fall in the 6 month wait also. I just don't understand the long wait or what the reason for it could be, should not take that long for a company to say yes we want your work or no we don't.

So, of those that happened to get accepted after waiting for 6 months (still do not understand why the long wait) , was the wait worth it? Are you getting your uploads approved or rejected? Are you making any sells? I have been waiting for over 5 months now and just need to find out if it is worth it or ?

I have made $13 there so far.  Not much but I have patience and don't mind if they take another year to start marketing.  It's their money and I would much rather they didn't waste it by rushing things.

I've been there since October and only have 163 images there.  No sales yet.  Approvals are pretty good, the ones that have been rejected, for the most part, I understand.  Most of the rejected images were some of my older stuff which were accepted by iStock long ago but knowing how standards are different now I am not worried about the rejection as I am concentrating on uploading my latest stuff that is of better quality (I've gotten better over the years, too. :) )

As Sharpshot said, I'm patiently waiting for their marketing kick-off and when that happens I expect/hope sales to start taking off.  If you look at their most popular images, sort by downloads, you'll see that the most popular image only has 9 total downloads so far.

I've been accepted recently, after a bit less than 6 months waiting.

I only earned 50p so far, but I have very few pictures there due to their 25 pictures a day limit. Which is a bit boring, especially having to login every day to submit pics - they could at least import a few pictures a day automatically as GL does. Acceptance is good.

Let's wait and see.

I suppose I can say they are still reviewing us all...   I believe I submitted back in June or July and  they finally accepted me just a few weeks ago...   so  hang in there.  8)=tom

p.s.  and I'm happy to be on-board again with the old StockXpert gang!

Been there since summer of 2010, I guess June or July, around 500 online images, no sales yet, very few views (20 max). Starting to lose patience...

Are you serious? This is a site that is only in phase 1: starting to slowly surely build a decent database. No marketing whatsoever has happened, no efforts to draw in customers yet. I suspect it'll take a whooole while before we start to see decent views and sales. Losing patience already seems a bit premature.

I am also waiting for about one month? maybe... I don't even remember when I did have register in there. I think I will have to wait for about 5 more months or more, now, that I have read this forum. So, what can I do? I'll be patient. I wonder if they will e-mail me, no matter what, after I'm accepted or rejected. Or I will have to check by myself, from time to time. I will make a scheduler that will tell me to check Stockfresh every 6 months. Maybe you'll do the same thing. Good luck.

So, after 8 months of waiting I sent a message to them on Monday asking why such a long wait for a yes or no and why some have been accepted in as little as a week or two and others 6-8 months or longer like me. Waited 4 days and no answer, so I sent another message asking why they are not answering me...got a reply real fast...we don't need your work and that I should look at their best sellers with a link to 4 pages of Yuris sales and that I could try again in one month. After a lot of thought (almost 3 seconds) I have decided to NOT worry about it and NOT try again. Or is every one making a fortune on there and I should beg them to let me put my garbage photos on their site and try to sell there?
