Nothing mind blowing but people are asking and SF is responding with caution.

"I understand your frustration, but we need to build up a customer base essentially from zero, and that takes a while. We are not backed by multi million dollar investments like most agencies, so there won't be instant results. We do plan to become profitable within a year though and if all goes well it's going to happen because our sales are increasing steadily.

As I said in the very beginning, what we're doing is quite risky in this market, and there are no guarantees that we'll even survive. We certainly hope we will succeed, but we're trying not to waste contributors' precious time in case we don't. I even import files myself for a number of people. If you feel that submitting is taking up an unreasonable amount of your time, we're not going to blame you for not doing it. We really appreciate the support though!"

So refreshing to see an honest answer, unlike some other new sites that promised lots and failed to deliver.  I'm sure lots of people wont have the patience to stick this out but I'm going to give them as long as it takes.

No worries! and since we uploade to BIG companies that in return kill off ports and waste our time with search-changes and what nots, well, then I sure as hell is going to upload to a small company that is trying hard, give em our best shot!.

I agree and it's because of this that I am rooting for this site.

I saw those forum posts, but I'm uploading anyway. I do understand that I am not getting into a get rich quick scheme, but that's OK. StockXpert is a good calling card for a new stock site to have and yes, a little honesty goes a long, long way in the current climate.

Absolutely agree!

My whole port is there, and downloads are growing every month, so I will definitely continue to support them.

I just got accepted so at least for while I will not complain :-) I am going to upload until I reach couple hundred images there. At this point of time I might re-evaluate.

I like Stockfresh.  Apart from low vector prices, I like everything about that agency.  I love their honesty and it's always great knowing real people are running the site.  They give off a feeling that we're part of team kind of like DT does, instead of that feeling like we're just a replaceable ID number... like iStock and Fotolia does.

We should support them where we can.  If I make a sale or upload images, I chuck a facebook post about it and tweet it.  If everyone did something small like this it might give them a little boost and put them on the map.  It's good for us all in the long run.
