Does anyone has any feedback on the sales rate?

I've been there for over 2 months and have now about 70 images, but no sale.  One person I know who's been there longer than I have said it's veeeery slow.  And judging by the file numbers, they had over 950000 submissions, so the portfolio must be huge (they reject very little), so I guess they need to work on the marketing.  I read somewhere that they had plans of improving marketing this year.

Adelaide

Was everyone spammed by the Swedes?

I  have been building up a portfolio here for three months and now have 681 images here. The acceptance rate is about 82% (not as good as 123rf 94%) and finally I had a sale 1.80 euros of course minimum payout is 60 euros so still a very long way off. Strange this sale occured shortly after I mentioned on this forum that I was going to stop uploading to them.

Hopefully they will start trying to attract customers instead of photographers. As looking at some of the viewing figures they are pitiful.

I presume you are referring to your downloads.

To find those log in and scroll down to the very bottom to the statistics where you will see the third stat

1 file(s) downloaded/sold

but to find out what was downloaded you need to open up another text file - a rather strange site

or

click on the link my files (you may have to click on my account on the left column) to access this list

then click on downloads or views to arrange your images accordingly.

you will get a big list with links

the 8th one down is

My Files / edit files click on that to see your portfolio

If you haven't had any downloads you won't have a text file

my stats look like this

Quote
Statistics:
 0 purchased file(s)

0 download credit(s) available

1 file(s) downloaded/sold Details (Tab-separated file) <------ this is a link to a file giving details of the download

Sales?  You've got to be kidding.  :)

I stopped uploading when I reached 100 images there and no sales (abou a month).  Occasionally I upload something just to say "I'm here".

I think its a combination of lack of advertising and high prices

I must admit I have over 1100 images at SPM and the sales are incredibly slow BUT at least they have the option that you can cash out every three months regardless of the amount (their limit is 60 euros). Its is certainly a policy I wish a few other agencies would adopt.

Their FTP option is a bit strange sometimes its a couple of days before the files appear to be categorized.

Leaf, Phildate did you ever get a normal payout?

Mmm... murky pond scum

Yeah, I concur.

SPM sales are as fast as a salmon swimming upstream to spawn ;)

I have 70 images with SPM, mostly 3D renderings. For over 6 months now, NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH ....
Sent them an email, they informed me they were going to start marketing campaigns in Europe, still, nothing. Wonder if they are simply too expensive if it comes to illustrations. Just let it be now, wait and see.

The only strange thing is that you can request a cash out every three months even if its just a few euros
