Hi,

just looked at the new balance sheet on stockXpert to find out it changed.
now got both the (old) credit and the new subscription sales & $, nice they show it both, but not so nice that the link is gone telling you which photo(s) sold on that day  :(
Do you know any other way to see which of your photo's sold for a day (or week)?  ??? (don't want to go though all) you can't sort them on download date...

regards,
Bjorn

Yes, I've seen it and thought the same thing - I couldn't check which of my images had actually been downloaded the day before.  Shame - I like to be able to see the underlying detail.

No doubt they will fix it in due course.

Would make more sense if they did it like SS, with a row for each day and a column for each type. That way, you get totals for the day, and click on the day to see the images. This could end up like 123 where you have to click one link to see sub sales and another to see credit sales.

Steve-Oh:

I agree with everyone else in this thread that the new Account Balance web page needs to be tweaked.  It currently isn't very useful.

As mentioned above, another column should be added for subscriptions.  So the first column would still be date, the second column would be for credit (regular) sales, the third column would be for subscription sales, and the fourth (and last) column would be the total for the day.

A hyperlink should be provided on the date (if there are any sales for that day) where details could be provided (which would show the breakout of sales) for each day..  Alternatively, a hyperlink on the second (credit sales) and third (subscription sales) columns could be provided instead that would show the details for each of the different types of sales.

Hope that helps.

Yes, columns rather than rows would make sense.

I like 123RF, but agree that navigating the balance sheet to get detail on any individual image is a nightmare.

I have just seen that - the horror!  I have sent support an e-mail but I hope Steve-oh reads this thread.

Please give us that back, or give us an alternative!  IS and DT are good options (and even better than the previous StockXpert report, which forced us to check each day): we see a list of images dld'ed, from the most recent backwards, with the thumbnail, type of dld in DT (regular/subs), the earnings and the total numbers of dlds and total earnings.  IS gives also the dlds/month, but I don't care much about that.

The balance page wasn't yet given a better functionality.  And my subs sale, which happened at 8am today, still doesn't show in balance (though it does in "my account").

I read this trick to see what sold in a particular day.  For instance, for 25-Oct-2007:
http://www.stockxpert.com/balance.phtml?f=earnings&y=2007&m=10&d=25

I think Steve-O is on holiday? (did I read that from an earlier post?)

Hence the "no reply"?

He has earned the break... he is very attentive, jmho.

He gets back November 3, though I imagine he'll have a lot of catching up to do!

Indeed, he has earned it.

Thanks for the tip, I just figured out what everyone was on about. What a joke. How do you replace something that works with something this broken and leave it in place. The few sales I get here often come in late at night, and with this system, I can't see what sold.

Steve took his holidays at the right or very wrong time depends on how you see it hehe .......... but man am I dissapointed with stockxpert, I have to confess that my favourite site is Shutterstock and second was stockxpert but at the moment I am very dissapointed. I can't believe the lack of action from their part to solve the problems. First rule is it is not broken don't fix it .... the site was working perfectly, climbing up ahead many other sites and someone had the great idea of introducing subscriptions which caused all this mess.

There is a list of things they should have done:

1. They knew about the security glitch and they did nothing for ages ...... the first thing they had to do was to disable the recover password via email and work the problem out.

2. You can't attach model releases ........ if it doesnt work roll it back and work it out but don't work in the live page!

3. Thumbnails not generating .... disable uploads so we don't waste our time while this is sorted!

4. Subscriptions sales not being recorded ...... well I hate the fact they introduced subscriptions, the subscription model works at SS but it doesn't work anywhere else.

Honestly I dont understand why they let everyone upload and upload when the system is just not working, this affect our sales and it affects the sites reputation because buyers just see errors when trying to download new images.

Well, ok, but complaints appeared in their site forum as well.  Is Steve-oh the only person who reads forum threads?  :)

Amen, to that....   I  emailed them a couple days ago, I thought it was just a glitch in my account..    Yeah,  I'm selling and I track what photos sold daily on all my sites .... and now, have no clue what sold at StockXpert, just got a dollar total...
BTW... got NO reply from support or even a "thanks for the question we'll get back to you".   Heck, I don't even know if cust support got the email...  Hope it's corrected soon, I don't have the time to play catch up with my accounting...
   Not a good system.     8)-tom

They do show up after a time.  My last batch didn't have thumbnails but I just checked and they are now all there.

I agree that they shouldn't have fiddled around with the site.  I hope the downloaders haven't had the problems we have.  My sales are still good.
