Many submitters still see 0 views on new images.  This problem began sometime in February and was acknowledged (sort of) by StockXpert quite a while ago, but people continue to post on the StockXpert forum, saying their recently uploaded images get no views, and there are no more official replies.

Since the search results are weighted - in part - by past popularity,  no views of an image while it's new amount to a kiss of death and it sinks like a stone.

I was one of the submitters getting 0 views, and I quit uploading to StockXpert weeks ago.  I am wondering if anyone else has news on this situation, or has maybe continued to upload and seen things improve.  Based on the forum posts I'm seeing, nothing has changed.

I know some of you are now ready to jump in and say "no problem, it's working for me",  but please do not add to our pain with tales of success    :(    as it is now well known that this problem does not affect all submitters, and that older images continue to sell.

I haven't followed this Veer thing.  What is it, really? Just another microstock?

What reminds me... where's Steve-oh?  I think the last time we heard of him was when his daughter was born.  I doubt he is in such a long parental leave.   :-\

So everyone thinks Veer is going to be the Next Big Thing?

Can't even submit photos yet, so it's hard to get too excited.

Steve-oh no longer works for StockXpert.  If I remember rightly he was moved when getty took over.

Some of my new files get views, one of them that was rejected by shutterstock for LCV has 47 views and one download since it went on the site 4 days ago.  Others stay on zero for a while but they do eventually get views.  Sales have been great there for the past 3 months and that is all that really concerns me.

My tip: generate yourself the first view (you just have to log out and then display each 0 view image). I do it for a few months now and it seems to work quite well : my images get views quickly as soon as the first view has been triggered.

That's exactly what we are not allowed to do... mentioned by admins on forum.

Try a common search at StockXpert with the popularity search and go to the LAST page of the search results.
At the LAST pages of the popularity search you will find all the new images.
From this point of view: this might be the reason why there are no views on new images at StockXpert.

I also get no views on my new images but after a few days they all get one view suddenly. I don't think the first view on all new images is real.
Sales dropped to me this month and I don't know why, I keep uploading new stuff at least once a week.

Same thing with me, I have a bunch of images with 1 view and then they get stuck.

Ok, then it's official - StockXpert is broken and there is probably no point in continuing to upload to it, at least if you're in the "Zero View" club.

I tried it a few times with a few pics - not to abuse the system but just to see if it works - and I didn't see any difference. May be I should have tried with just freshly uploaded pics (I tried those having 0 views for already a while).

I uploaded a batch this week after not uploading anything for several weeks - again 0 views, no change in sales pattern. So I'll probably delete this batch altogether.

Oh, really?  What a shame.

At least they were the faster to pay me, when comparing StockXpert, IS, DT and FT, for payouts requested together.  But sales this months are so horrible!   :-\

Review times are much much longer ... and no one (admin) is responding to forum posts?

I have always found that it takes a bit of time for images to get going at StockXpert.
I have uploaded a batch recently and views are now beginning to show up.
If you do the free Promo you will certainly get more views on your work.

Personally, I dont bother about the number of views - I just look out for sales!
