Title: a flicker of life...?
Post by: stockastic on May 19, 2009, 16:00
Today 'Admin' showed up on the StockXpert forum after a long absence. He gave brief noncommittal answers to a couple of long-standing questions about licensing and subs - but carefully stepped around the big thread at the top of the forum about 'no views on new images'.

Just totally weird.  It's like some goons from Getty took control of the office and herded everyone into the back room.

I was uploading images at about the same time.  I was amazed at how fast they were accepted ... or rejected.  Maybe he was on vacation?

How large is the staff?

They have been doing great for me all along.  I am not bothered about low views on new images, they still sell lots of older ones.

StockXpert is dead to me...

No sales, no views, my new photos still waiting for a long time...

Likewise - I never bother about views - I just watch out for sales!
StockXpert has also been doing really well for me.

OK... Seems fair from them.
A question for all:

What if such image is marked as EDITORIAL?

My problem is not views or sales. I have plenty of both. My problem is getting paid. Apparently now they have a problem with Moneybookers payments. I have a pending payment for 2 weeks now. I am really get sick and tired of stock sites that have problems with payments.  >:(

I hear that they have made some strict shedule about payments... My payout is also still pending since May 18, 2009. But, since HAAP Media is in Hungary and they are in EU - no problems with Moneybookers expected from me.

Several sites have had delays with moneybookers in the past.  They sort it out after a few weeks.  I could avoid the delay by using paypal but I still prefer MB.

I was paid last month through MB in two or three of days, StockXpert was the fastest of the four (StockXpert, IS, DT and MP).

Here is the discussion on their forum about the Moneybookers delay:

Unfortunately I cannot use PayPal and Moneybookers is my only option.

after months of steady decline (actually on a number of sites), I'm looking at BME on StockXpert this month, kind of amazed actually.  (also looking at one on DT & BigStock - 4 els in 1 day :))
