Title: FYI - Thinkstock Earnings Posted at StockXpert
Post by: Karimala on January 11, 2012, 15:28
Subscription sales have been posted at StockXpert.

Curious...has anyone been seeing any PPD earnings being posted the past few months, or have mine just dried up?

I don't get it. Today is 18 of February. So what, like nobody worried or did I missed something?

I knew the answer to this some time ago, but I thought that the original contributors to Stockxpert had their files and future earnings moved across to iStock? I just tried to log onto the Stockxpert site with my old User ID, but it no longer works.

What was the criteria that resulted in you still having earnings reported on that site?

StockXpert still acts as an archive for original contributors who did not remove their images or terminate their accounts.  Images are migrated over to Thinkstock from StockXpert and earnings are reported back at StockXpert.

Not seeing anything ever again. Closed the StockXpert account and got my final payment. Pretty much all the same images as on IS anyway, so why dilute my IS earnings, competing with myself?

Now that the closing StockXpert and people leaving, rush is over, it went smoothly and there was good communication from their people, all the way through. They removed all my images promptly and cleared the account. Took three month, they paid at the end of the third.

No little green bars on the IS PP charts yet.  ;D

I know they usually come in around the 15th. Doesn't get me excited seeing those tiny sales, so I don't hang on the edge of my chair waiting for the PP sales to start clearing. Hey, notification from the agency would be an interesting idea, wouldn't it? Maybe we should start a Facebook identity for Partner Program payments. Then when the first person gets their little green bars, they can post a message and we'll all be notified, without writing messages asking?

Hey, I know small portfolio, but I haven't removed images, I actually uploaded a few this year:

(http://s5.postimage.org/dvfariusn/is_feb_no_sales.jpg) (http://postimage.org/)
image hosting (http://postimage.org/)

Ask me why I don't care about them anymore?  ;)

So for us who have had our images mirrored from IS over to TS, etc, where do we see any earnings? should there be any ofcourse?  or does it all go into IS, or whatever?

The images on Istock are clumped into your normal earnings but you can see them coming in if you go to your stats page and flip back to February.  They are the green bars stacked atop the blue ones.  You can put your mouse over that bar and the dl's will show and the money will show, too.  Otherwise just download the CVS file and it summarizes your PP downloads, but it doesn't update in real time, you have to wait a few days.  Any images you used to have on StockXpert are also in the PP called Hemera collection.  Those sales are tabulated on the old StockXpert site.

With your collection you should have no problem making a few extra pennies, um, I mean dollars.  I mean, at .28 cents it takes a lot to make anything.  My best PP month excluding Hemera was $240, with Hemera $270.  You should have no problem surpassing that.

That was nice put :)  only trouble is, it takes them ages to mirror the images, so slooooooow.

Luis is right, March sales wont really roll in until later in April...at least that's what I think he is inferring.

Good grief.  My worst month ever, too.  $29.  >:(  Geez...and to think I used to earn about $250 a month!!!  Guess it's time to pull the plug and get rid of StockXpert, because even lower earnings at this point isn't going to make a bit of difference to my bottom line.
