I've had stuff in queue for a while there, and sometimes stuff gets done in a few days.  I'm happy with them...they're in my #3 spot for this month so far.

BTW, for the OP, I got in on my second attempt.

CofkoCof is asking about application submissions, I believe, not regular submissions.

actually with stockXpert i just got approved. it was fast. i think 1-2 days, or somewhere in between.
i submitted my 4 photographs and gave a good intro to myself.
and it was approved almost immediately.
now i'm waiting for my review to my first 6 submissions.

but i am very selective with my photos now , not like when i first started a month ago with the others.  lesson learned i guess. ;D

now i'm waiting for Istock. just joined them last night .

Got in on STockX first try, but the stuff is just laying there. Small group but still think I should e getting some views at least.

Next step for StockX is to do a sales analysis there of what does sell there and take a good look at my descriptions and keywording.

I also got in the first time I tried a month ago... but so far no effect from them... I have there about 80 images (30 still pending), but all I got yet was just a few views... I hope it'll get better through the time.

It's about 2 days since I applied, hopefully they will soon tell me that I passed :D

I recently got in on first try (unless I tried out so long ago, I don't remember it), but I have very, very small portfolio there.

As many have said before, it's hard to predict much about this business.
For example, I need to come up with 3rd photo to get accepted to isp, and don' t have clue what "safest" image would be.  smiles - Ann

they have a list that tells you "what we don't want you to send us".
also, look at their top sellers. this will give you an idea.
good luck.
i got in very quickly, but i also got my first 2 rejects just as quickly. ;D
at least, they're fast. and their rejects have a good reason of explanation. not just "we don't want this snapshot!" :o

First time....very few rejections after uploading 90 images.  Strange given my acceptance rate at IS is only 29%.  Strange how this varies so widely from photographer to photographer.
