Hey everyone I just got approved at StockXpert after my 2nd application.

In general what is your opinion about the site?

Nice friendly site.  Sales are getting better and better there and you have the option to opt out of subscription sales.
Also the average earning per download is higher than some of the others, for instance I sell a lot more at fotolia but make about the same amount of money as stockxpert.
The inspection is a bit quirky, sometimes you get your images inspected in a few hours and sometimes it takes days or even weeks.

One of my favorite sites and it looks like they are trying to grow and give istock some competition.  Uploading is very easy and they have approved 2,779 of my images, so they are not that fussy :)

I am with StockXpert about 12 days or so and just 2 sales with 300 images. Probably I have to wait a bit. What do you think?

I think you will get much more than that. I've now 4 sales this month with approx. 30 photos. And I think your stuff will in general get more attention sales.

With my limited experience I would think it is really about getting the traffic, files seems to jump once they get downloaded and jump up for a moment in the search.

StockXpert quickly proved your point, Danicek. 3 downloads today and the day is just half over.

I have seen on several sites that "view" traffic picks up considerably on an image after it gets its first download. This is due to higher placement in the searches I imagine ...

A lot of my stuff rejected there.
A small folio and earnings slow.

I just got accepted there and uploaded 280 files, 200 accepted, with one that I am still waiting to hear back on that I think was rejected as an administrative or procedural error.

I signed up on Jan 22nd and had my first batch accepted on Jan 24th and had my first sale on 26 January.

I haven't had any sales since then, but I expect that more sales will be forthcoming.  I think Stockxpert is definitely going the right direction and with Jupiterimages being the main company, they have resources to compete with the bigger MS sites.

IMHO, StockXpert is a site that deserves to have contributors send their portfolios to.  As the site grows, reviews are going to get tougher, but fairer.  I think that there is still a ways to go to get the review process under control and more online across all reviewers, but I have found that contacting them, with a professional and detailed message, about administrative errors usually yields favorable results.  If you are going to contact them to complain about a difference in opinion, you are wasting your time and only slowing down the process.

I am predicting at least 20 downloads for February for my portfolio.  I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if there were many more.
