It all started when I noticed that one image (http://www.stockxpert.com/browse.phtml?f=view&id=5928961) had 16 views and its sister (http://www.stockxpert.com/browse.phtml?f=view&id=5967611), uploaded one day later, had none. They have the same keywords, except for one (vertical vs horizontal).
Searching for "stethoscope isolated", the first image turns in second (maybe thanks to the rating), the second doesn't come up in the next 12 pages.
Searching for "stethoscope isolated -woman -man" (after figuring out that boolean NOT doesn't work in the search...), the second is found only in the 10th of the 16 result pages.
Isn't it odd? Same keywords but one....
Doing another search, for "sfiha", trying to find this one (http://www.stockxpert.com/browse.phtml?f=view&id=5855541), of a very popular lebanese dish. Nothing returns, but if searching for "lebanese food", this comes first. Is there a CV hidden in StockXpert, so images that are not in it are desconsidered?

I think the comments and ratings make the big difference for the stethoscope if the second picture have his thumbnail generated. Because I have some who don't... but it's probably the ratings.
For the Lebanese dish, the keyword "sfiha" is maybe a misspelled term for the search engine. Because StockXpert does not have any speller checker who give the information if this keyword is supported by the search engine, like other sites have. But I don't know how the search engine is working exactly. If it's like IS, it's return you to an other keyword if it's not supported..
It can be a search engine problem too. But for the stethoscope it's sure is the ratings. I have similar files uploaded at the same time and the rated one have a lot more views then the one whit no rating.
