Mela,

To be fair, this is not unique to StockXpert.
I have had similiar experience on other sites.
Just  report it  to admin and they can track the user (if a member) and remove them.

Actually this is first time I got spam on microstock. Maybe I become being popular?

I just did some google search first. She seems to be active on Russian/Armenian sites ;-) Russian mail-order brides are kind of legendary in USA ;-)

I actually met my wife of Polish dating site ;-) World is small place we figured out that we leave 10 miles from each other on the other side of the globe :-)

The other good one is when people spam the forums with Stock Market hype. They find the word "stock" and don't even have a clue.

In the Philippines it's an industry. I have some acquaintances that do it. They spend some hours per day in a netcafe to start, later when their business takes off, they buy a laptop and do it from home. They call it "work".

Don't laugh, you would be surprised how much money they catch from gullible Westerners. When they "earn" a small fortune, once in a while, after their trip to Western Union, they treat all their friends and "colleagues" at a small party.

I am so thankful that this forum (MSG) exists for exposing such frauds, because this line from the email:

"(Remember the distance or colour does not matter but love matters a lot in life)"

nearly got to me.  I mean, for a while I was believing that someone with such depth of feeling could not possibly be a scammer/spammer.   Thanks for clearing that up. :D

and with X word it is very tricky. Well IMO maybe we must redirect her to the iSTOCK, she will have more sucess on that site.
As she says: " distance or colour and other things does not matter..."

I've received the email too and answer giving her a trash email address to learn more about her, asking her to tell me exactly what she wants.
Here is the reply:
"My Dearest One ,
Please permit me to introduce myself  further to you for a better understanding as Miss Shian Tashel, i am 24 years old and a citizen of Liberia, and I would like you to guide me through the most viable business investment opportunities in your Country.
Alternatively, I can invest in your line of business perhaps if it's viable. I am one of the only two Kids of Mr.Dadona Tashel from the Republic of Liberia, and i am currently residing as a refugee in a Church in Dakar Senegal.
I have been in this country for some times now after a decade old civil war that dreaded the coast of West African most richly blessed countries and have a devastating effect of destruction to my country, that led to the disappearance of my lovely parents and my elder sister.
I want to invest the funds left over in deposit by my late father in your country with your help and advice, because i am being treated as a foreigner here and never cared for because many consider me to be an orphan, and for this good reason,i am honestly seeking your passionate understanding to assist me in the very good way of investing this money .
I want you to help me with a good guidelines on how to invest this money wisely,i shall make available 15% of the total amount of Four Millions, and Five Hundred Thousand United States Dollars (US $4.500.000.00) which happens to be my family deposits with a known financial institution, which will be invested into a very good profitable business investment as an upward payment into your bank account, which i will personally submit to the financial institution ,before the initiation of the joint investment.
I will be expecting you to send me a complete breakdown of the investment opportunities in your country and also to let me know what exactly i should have to do to enable you and I,invest this fund correctly in a proper form of good business investment  in your country.
My gladness will be your acceptance to act as a proximy in search of a profitable business investment / venture where this fund will be invested in .
I will come over to your country after an upward payment of the 15% is comfirmed in your bank account to see the possibilities of legalizing all the necessary formalities that will enhance the success of this comming together, and to work out the investment plans and modalities with you in one good condition i attach my picture here.
My Regards with love and God Bless

She is actually looking pretty nice!
But we all know this is not the person who is sending those mails!

yuppa, a variation of the ubiquitous nigerian scam. sounds very familiar.
here's some approaches:
1) call business , ESL teachers, etc... to get their service . then ask how much they charge. ask for their bank account so they can deposit a transfer right away so you can get paid in advance.
2) call on relay pretending to be a deaf customer. wanting to order xxx . when told you don't sell xxx.
ask, "so what do you sell? i want to buy $$$  of that."
3) i am the son/ daughter/wife of a rich king/magnet/etc.. and i need some money to regain my kingdom. if you send me $$$ i will pay you back with interest . BIG PERCENTAGE.
4) ask if you could cash a cheque for them, in return for keeping a "little bit for your trouble".
usually, you get 100 or even 500 for your "little trouble".  the first one is valid, the next cheques are all forgeries or stolen.
5) same thing on credit cards... all stolen.

All these were on yahoo news some time ago. also exposed on one of the finance sites.
looks like they're branching out to new preys... ie. stock photography.
wonder how many of those refunds from fraudulent DL came from them too.

I am always amazed at the amount of rich people dying in Nigeria leaving no heirs. I am even more amazed at totally unknown bank or estate managers eager to share the deceaseds' money with me!

Smithore, have you replied her again? I have already thought of starting one such mail exchange, just for the fun of seeing how they develop the conversation.

Regards,
Adelaide
