Via Seb at the StockXpert forum about payment request cut-off times:
"The cut off is 9 am MST each Friday to be paid this Friday."
-
That makes it clear as mud. So if request is made by 9am this Friday, we will also receive the payout this Friday, the very same day?
I asked the question on the StockXpert forum as well.
-
Doesn't this sound like a variation on the IS payment scheme - weekly payments one week in arrears? IOW if you request by the cutoff on a Friday, you get paid the following Friday.
-
jsnover, that is what I figured it would be, the same as IS's payment scheduled, except on a Friday instead of Monday.
Wonder why they just don't say so. Better to issue a bunch of double-speak and confuse everybody.
-
Actually I was understanding it to mean that whenever you make a request, you get paid the very next Friday. Like if I put in a request today, I get paid Friday the 22nd.
Not sure how it could work otherwise. You can't have multiple payout requests in at the same time, so the istock method wouldn't work. I couldn't get a request in for next week if I already have a pending request to be paid out this week. The cutoff time would prevent that.
-
So if I make a request Friday morning, the 22nd, at lets say 8am, I am going to get a paypal payout that same day? That doesn't seem like something these places can do that fast. I hope you are right.
Seb posted after my question.
So if we request payment by 9am this Friday, we will receive our Paypal payment this Friday, the very same day? I hope that's true, that would rock.

Thanks for the response Seb. I assume then that there isn't a week delay like at Istock?
That would be great :)

According to my iStock sources, this is how they plan to pay. Good for you guys that you don't have to wait.

I can confirm that this is correct. I made a payment request today about 10:00 GMT and have just had the funds paid to my paypal account. Smooth.
-
Wow, this is great news.
-
I guess it's payday cause I just received a notice of payment.
-
Looks like things are going smoothly again. Just have to remember to put in those payment requests every Friday morning.
