The thing is they're still approving images at the rate of 50K+ per week so presumably they must be inspecting at least 10K-odd per day. That's quite an expensive administrative burden on it's own and could only be justified if they were intending to be operating for quite a few more months.

I guess all the financial side of things has been moved over to Istock (or where ever) and will take a little while to settle down. It's all part of Getty so I'm sure the money accrued is safe.

Just replied to me (next day I sent an inquiry) saying that this friday and asking apologies for the delays. Nice people. Not as Crestock :)

This is posted on StockXpert forums today by an admin:

Message from iStock:

"Hello Dear Contributors,

All payment requests from December 19th to January 15th will be processed this coming Friday, January 15th, 2010. Going forward after this Friday, we are planning to process all payment requests every Friday. As this is a new schedule and system we're using, we appreciate your patience and understanding. Our accounting team is working diligently to ensure that this goes smoothly and everyone is paid on time.

Thank you all.

Your friendly support admin - tiggered"

I like the idea of every Friday payouts.  Much more reliable than just "whenever" as it has been lately.

The only question I have is will there be a one week delay like there is at Istock or will we be paid the same week we make the request...?

Whew!  Just got notice from StockXpert that payment has been sent by Paypal.  I guess they will issue a cut-off schedule like Istock soon for Friday payments.

yep, ditto - just got paid.  I generally find the best way to get paid quick, is to forget that you ever requested payout :)

I got mine too.

It's easier to forget you requested it on the sites that let you make more requests while the last are pending.

Pretty hard to ignore a couple of hundred dollars gathering dust because you can't request it... ;)

I'm starting to wonder how you ever get to payout level at StockXpert nowadays? The place is dying on its arse for me __ they've gone from a fairly steady 6% of earnings down to just 2.5% this month.

I am getting hardly any sales from StockXpert, but JIU is still producing.  I thought they would be offline in January, but sales keep coming in.
