Cart manager:

https://github.com/orangeman555/symbiostock/blob/master/ss-cart-manager.zip?raw=true

Its a plugin for seeing the pending and completed purchases on your site. You can grant carts for download - allowing you to deliver if the paypal sale does not complete for some reason.

I'm releasing this to the beta testers up till now so you can see if any carts were abandoned on your site in the pre-paypal-revamp :D.

Later on it will be taken down from being free, expanded, and included as a paid plugin for future Symbiostockers, as well as included in the premium package. Meanwhile, you will get automatic updates.

Be warned that when you toggle or deactivate your theme, this plugin will deactivate as well. Only for now...I'll have it updated soon.

YOU abandoned a cart - I am devastated, WHAT was wrong with my image? ;D

Apart of course, at the time you could not see the buttons even though I could

Wow, what a great addition again - Thanks Leo!

Now we have a great overview both in regards of abandoned carts and also sales - perfect!

Theres only one thing I do not quite get:
If I look at all carts and process the whole cart of a user by "Approve to download", all works fine and the user can download the files afterwards in his files are.
However if I click into a card and see all images therein, select a single image and click on "Process" below, nothing seems to happen - Id expect the user to find this single image(s) for download then? Did I get something wrong or is this function not working yet?

Thanks for your ongoing support, the only major issue I see is the search now where Id dream of the following features:
* Some twists and tweaks regarding search terms discussed before
* User can select how many results shall be displayed (since yesterday we are able to set a generic value ourselves thanks to your fantastic lab!)
* User can select if the order of results should be based on best (also availbale thanks to rating implemented now), most recent or (if possible) downloads

With an improved search I think Symbiostock can really be considered for a final release! Keep on doing the great work, Leo!

Some functions are not working. I'm just releasing it early because people may wonder if they've lost any sales during the early days.

Sure, no problem - just wanted to make sure you are aware of things potentially working different as you might have expected...

Just tried this new plugin. I have 2 abandoned carts, that by the looks of it could be from legitimate buyers. Wish I knew why they didn't go ahead. There is no date attached unfortunately.

Great plugin Leo, hope this gets incorporated into the main theme soon.

looks great, but what happens when we click "process"? (the one on "all purchases" page)

I wondered the same -- there should be a 'coming soon' message there at least, to prevent false bug reports

also, the list shows only 1 item from 'testing2' but I've used that account at least 4 times - every one was charged correctly from paypal, but none of them ever resulted in any download instructions in the email or the user cart area - seems like there should be either 0 or 4 ?

Maybe you abandonded your carts in the pre- pre-paypal-revamp ?  I assumed this was the case when my early test purchases did not show

Leo mentions in this thread that some functions are not working

I'm a little sad no one has abandoned a cart on my site. I get lots of visitors using very specific search terms, but they don't follow through to buy. Guess I need to tweak some useability/visual appeal on my site....

You should have an abandoned cart now - just to keep you happy  ;)   I did notice something strange though.  I clicked on download - logged in (already have an account) and got a "oops page not found" page come up, ignored it and clicked back and went back to the image page to download (or not )

Cool, I can see the abandoned cart but I could not duplicate the error you found. BTW, I have one test image on my site of a boat (just search under "tester" on my minerals website). If anyone wants to test my cart please do so and I will reciprocate. My image is set at 10cents to test it. It works fine for me, but I have no idea if it works for anyone else.

Just tested and it worked perfectly.

If you'd like to test my site I have a test image at .10  on my site as well. (search - test)

Thanks

Thanks Steve, so does yours, no issues at all. I appreciate that, I haven't tested my cart in a while and doing it myself doesn't make me as confident as having someone else do it. Cheers!

This a great feature!

Unfortunately, I have a lot of people that have abandoned their purchases.

Might it be possible to add a feature to this plug-in that will automatically e-mail the customer a few hours after the cart is abandoned with a friendly reminder?
