I know your excited to say "Hey, there's an alert that pops up when I click a button" yes I'm troubleshooting that area right now. Also you will notice some problems with search...it has to hurt to heal...
I had to overhaul search, and I'm finally getting things straight with it. Thanks for your patience.

Leo, if I do a search on your site I see at the bottom of the page the footer AND the Extended network directory link.

 Is this a widget (as I cannot find it) as I do not have either the footer or the directory link at the base of my search pages.  I have disabled my child theme in case that was causing the problem but still no footer or directory link

In fact, going three levels deep might be more than enough for creating a local extended directory.

We could test "six degrees of separation" theory

actually that's one of the things that will be 'easy ' to do once we get going -- there are some great network graphing apps out there that can do things like:

I noticed that the "Like this:" button is grayed out again and shows loading but never finishes.  It was working in earlier testing.

i had previously purposely added duplicates in my network list and they were accepted.  updating to new theme removed them, but then it let me put them back in.  still lets me enter my own site as a network site

appearances comment -- the red X on the networks list realy jumps out ,making it look like those are disabled or have some sort of error -- maybe change to a lighter  'delete' label??

i clicked updated pub network but nothing seemed to change -- ALL my network links still  say they;'re running v2.1.1 or earlier;  also i had entered new site avatar & site logo, but they dont show up in my list, though they are correct in the slots below (i'm linking directly to my images from my live account)  the new card.csv however has the proper info in it (still would like to remove the symbiostock_ prefix on all those names! it's hard to read a card offline

under symbiostock_network folder, there are folders for all the other network sites (extra char removed) butr all are empty, as is the seeds folder -- is there supposed to besomething there?

if i'm editing image drafts, at the end of the edit it goes back to showing me all images - should still be showing only draft

Hi leo, the single image pages have , I think , an extre box underneath.  Image Categories and Categories

I presumed to remove your extra widget. The catagories widget you added is not related to SS. The cats shown are hardwired. You can't remove it unless the image has no categories.

You mean how it disappears? Fixed it.

On that note, I've also worked in a timeout for people's networks. If they timeout, they are fetched after page load. Lighting fast page-load this time.

I wrote very very simple cache for xml results fetched from network sites. Now I am testing it on my both Symbio sites. Just few lines in function get_remote_xml and symbiostock_xml_cache folder in root dir

published another 30  and still exported the same 25-- then guessed i might have to click that box at the bottom of the settings page

the reprocess to create the image.csv file needs to be more prominent - some people may never turn it on, and many will forget to update it   - since it seems to be quick, why not do it automatically when someone logs out, or on a weekly basis if they stay logged in?

It works...heavenly. Wow. Alls I had to change was the server path to the wordpress-functional one. Good job!
Gonna combine this with the ajax implementation I'm doing and this officially ends slow load times. WOW.

Side note I really needed the wind back in my sails. This did it.

ok,  -- I upl'd late last night, so figured they'd have been processed, but every 24 hrs is fine; esp'ly w the ability to force an update

The images one updates once a day instead of multiple times simply because if someone with a HUGE portfolio (3000, 4000, 10,000) updated hourly it would punish their server. But you can force it as you say. Just need prettier buttons then?

not really - i'd forgotten it was automatic, so put it very low on your list

AJT contributed a caching method. SPEED.

Besides that, I put in a little method that speeds up page load and fetches laggy people afterward. Those in turn are cached, and the next request is as fast as your website can deliver (not dependent on other requests).

This is a HUGE improvement. I had intended to put a after-load request into Symbiostock, but AJT's caching is the cherry on top. Awesome. Speed .

I did not get to address any network addition/subtraction/duplicate bugs. Today I focused entirely on the search speed.

This is pretty good, because Tinny had added like 10 people and it was impossible for her site to load properly. Great she discovered that limitation. Now its smooth sailing!

Just a note. You have to toggle your theme (on/off) so it generates the caching folder. If you do not, it won't be created for the first time and you'll get errors.

Looking nice Leo! This next release should be great.

Just a thought tho - I think the <> arrows on the network search results need to be moved. Currently they overlap the images on the edge (far left and far right) but perhaps with some better spacing of results, the images could be moved in a little and the <> buttons be given their own space.

Yeah, I think those are being worked on.

Just a little word of warning - Cascoly says sometimes the title is hijacked by the processor and replaced iwth default text even when the title exists in IPTC. Let me know if anyone experiences this. As mentioned its just bug fixes from here on.
