I can be arond shortly I do have ten network members at present last couple had to add using symbio cards only, typing in did not work,  sky is a good word to test if working , some time out sometimes and don't show

I'm going to fix all the BIG stuff (it would be unfair to leave you with crucial problems...) but as regards to other "we'd like to have" things, a break is needed especially since the family needs me during the summer. Its been that way since I entered this business.


Lets address the last biggies;

• I seem to see the theme "echoing" an install. Like 4 emails. Deployments AT symbiostock is notified of new installs and upgrades. Are you guys seeing problems? This might be related to the infinite loop one of you experienced trying to turn on the theme. Please let me know.
  
• Cidepix seems to have a very deeply hidden and deadly bug under the flesh of his site...eating up emails before they are sent. Anyone else experiencing this? You go-daddy-ers? I don't even know where to start on this because its just him... as far as I know.
  
• Please tell me in detail the conditions under which you have problems adding people to network. Include browser info and errors. With my head in a tizzy sometimes I need to be spoonfed the details.
  

Also regarding image sizes, it appears some of you will be capped at a certain point (seems to be 5000px or 6000px  range), or certain filesizes...hard to say exactly because everyone's conditions are different. But random crashes with HUGE files will be the norm. I'll try to make a good post on every possible way to work around this.

The more you can give me for details in the next few posts the better I can finish these things in the next few days.

Leo - I don't know if it is related to Cidepix's other problems but:
I do my search for sky of my ten network members.  Currently Cidepix does not load, just goes round and round till it times out (?)   If I click on the link to his Author Page it does not show.  It does not default to the front page as mine and Steve (backyard) did but has a site not found page.

I'm pretty sure he reverted to the previous version, so network results won't work at this point. Another possibility (rare, but possible) is that paypal is htting a barrier with his IPN script, and the update never happens. But still would not explain email problems.

He has the credit of discovering my most difficult "unique" problem yet simply because I can't duplicate it and I can't for the life of me figure out where it could even start... !!! I need to give him a giant "bug" trophy, that looks like a Zerg ...

I installed a fresh chrome browser on a totally new computer (windows vista) and I can not see the "Pay Now" text or the other text beside "/"

I created an account on your site.. here is what I found out:

1- your password email goes to junk mail folder.. (at least it is being sent unlike mine )
2- I can not see "Pay now" text on your site either.. below is a screen shot..
3- I can confirm that it is not "only" my site.. it is a general bug for symbiostock.. this is the way it looks on chrome (windows vista)

My chrome is on Windows 7 too and shows "Pay Now". I'll try on XP.

That is probably what Leo was talking about earlier then - I suggested he make a test purchase (for which I would have refunded him) from my site so he could do a real test and he asked what I had changed so I took the css edits out, which I have put back after seeing this, at the time I did not have a clue what he was talking about and as he sounded as if he was joining the rest of his family in their illness did not like to ask for explanation.


On my and Cidepix site I can see the "pay now" on the cart button in both Chrome and Firefox (Win 7) and whatever browser my tablet uses.

It seems various people have had this problem and their are various solutions but not all fix everyone's problems so it finishes off by telling people to start their own threads with their particular problem

Gonna close this thread since I just have a few things left to address. I'd hate for people to post here and not get a response from me. Instead please contact leo [at] symbiostock dot com

Also on a closing note for the summer, it might be a good time to focus on expanding the network, since traffic seems to increase with network size (ie, the joined efforts, seo, with its unique network is becoming a successful model). Wrote a closing post on it:
