I'm sure this has been discussed before but couldn't find the post, is there a way or plugin that will show the local currency depending on which country the user is in? Is it possible without the user being logged in?

Do you think I would be best leaving it set to $ even though I am in the UK?

Why?

I am probably the wrong person to reply as I was the one that originally requested other currencies  so we could use our own,  thus not having to pay an exchange fee on overseas transactions.  The amount gets shown to customer before they pay

Or both: many commercial sites (e.g. hotel/flight booking sites) show approximate prices in the local buyer's currency as a courtesy, then do the transaction in their own currency, charging conversion fees to the buyer

Furthermore, in my case (architectural photography) it could make sense to show prices in GBP for UK pictures and in EUR for the rest of Europe. So I'd like to set prices by picture.
