I have first a general question: can ALL the changes and mods to your sites be done within the admin panel and modifying the css files, or are you guys modifying using WAMP/MAMP servers or other PHP editors?

I have searched around the admin area. I found where you can make menus, but I am trying to add more nav buttons (like most of you have done), to the right of the existing HOME, and I can't find where to do that.  :-\ If I create a menu item, it does not add it there. Can someone point me in the right direction?

Am I doing this the best way - I don't know!

Make a page and save it.

Go to appearance - menu

Check your new page, add to menu

Then you can drag the items in order.  If you want a sub directory you can drag them below that tab and a little to the right - see how my RF STOCK tab has categories but they are indented?

And DONT FORGET TO SAVE, LOL, have done this many times... scroll down there's a blue box.

Thanks so much pixart. I have given up for the night, but will give it a try tomorrow. The picture is very helpful!

I'll find a video to post for you tonight. I'm sure there's plenty.

That would be awesome, too, leo. Thanks.

I'm on some backwater woods wireless connection, but as far as my attention span could hold the slow loading time...it appears he's going in the direction your looking for.

Creating Menus - Wordpress Tutorial Video

I noticed lots of people are not setting up their most important above header menu...probably because they do not know how. It would be great if someone had fun and made a video.
