For those of you who may be confused regarding collections - here's a quick example I threw together:

At this point I've addressed the issues. They were small one-liners that were overlooked before release.

For anyone who wishes we can now adopt this thread for feature requests. (I've updated original post)

For instance Cascoly wants improvements on collections since they are a little un-obvious on how to set up.

also REALLY need the search tracking log so we can see what keywords users are actually using to find symbio sites, rather than trying to guess what might attract them

for some reason, 'pinnipeds' is the runaway winner for most common search on my cascoly.com nonsym site -- I do have pinniped (seals) posters and images, but it'sstill surprising.  indian silk brocade si a close second

on hubpages, my most popular site ever is my "Famous landmarks of Mexico" which I posted as a throwaway while developing my more extensive coverage of India and Turkey.

we can track these individually, but having a global collection could realy make things interesting -- any it's yet another feature that the microstock agencies refuse to make public

Thanks. I'll be documenting these and implementing them wherever I can. During that time I'm going to be optimizing much of the theme and upgrade.

If this plugin is a paid for Release Candidate, shouldnt it be less buggy? I have seen too many problems,  I got worried, I am going to hold off upgrading for now.

Are you planning on releasing a more stable version soon, Leo?

the plugin appears to be stable..

the reason I purchased it now is to support development.. I don't like donating just for the sake of donating.. this is more like it..

in it's current state, the only feature I will use is the ability to set up "Extended Licenses".. other features do not really appeal to me personally.. I wouldn't mind if they didn't exist..

features I am interested in are:

- a page for sales stats..
- ability to set download expiration after a certain period..

as I said, purchased it for supporting development and hopefully get these features :)

Ok, and I will say, I dont purchase Lightroom to be able to help Adobe iron out bugs in Lightroom.  If I buy software, its supposed to work out of the box, no? There will always be bugs, sure, but if I see MASSIVE red letters screaming to fix a bug, I think calling it stable is  not right.

Look, I will purchase the plugin, I fully understand and accept Leo needs to profit, I still support Symbiostock, but lets not treat it as if its the holy grail and nothing can be wrong with it. I am just being realistic.

I just do not want to purchase buggy software. I dont want to be a beta tester. Is that wrong of me?

Array issue solve :D

Onto the next.

Does that mean the premium plugin has been updated?

I'm ready to purchase but I'm not in a hurry. I'd rather install the updated product instead of one that needs to be updated after installation.
Thats what I am thinking as well.

Leo, good to hear you fixed most bugs. I will wait for the next update, and get stuck in. Do you expect on releasing 2.6.2 or later versions maybe? I only want to update my theme once.

Thanks a lot.

Just want to let you know, still appreciate your hard work, as ever, dont let my moaning throw you off.  :)

No, providing you quietly wait until those of us who have no problems with beta testing have reported all the bugs we can find in the knowledge that they will get fixed.  That way these bug reporting theads can contain only reports and queries instead of grumbles which will help Leo find the real problems more quickly  ;)

So should I start a new thread then? I didnt realise this thread was only for bug reporting. I am merely expressing my concerns in the only thread addressing the purchase of the premium plugin.

Ow wait, I am doing it again. See, it happens without even realising it. Ow, I just did realise it. Aaaargh.  :)

I'll be quiet.

I cannot use Paypal at the moment but Moneybookers, anyway I can buy the premium with MB? For the premium version also I think you should integrate MB for customer payment

Symbiostock Professional 1.1.6
Symbiostock 2.6.1

Just done a test purchase  should have been  1,500.00 ish but paid  00.01 -  but all expected emails received and download works and is there when page is refreshed  :)  :)

~~
I have been playing with this 1000.00 anomaly

If an image costs over a thousand pounds it shows as 1,000.00 with a comma, even though I  enter it as 1000.00

I can add lots of individual images so that they add up to over 1,000.00 and works nicely (did not do a test purchase on this but looks correct in customer area)

If I add an image that costs over 1,000.00  it reverts to 00.01 next to the download button
If I make it an extended licence, say an extra 500.00 it ignores it the licence cost once you hit the download button
If I purchase the 1,500.00 image it shows a standard not extended licence in the purchase email
There is a letter r after the price

Would you like me to forward you my "receipt" ?

This is probably not an important bug unless anyone is charging this much for their images - or maybe working in a currency that has lots of noughts

~~

Everything originally priced at  under 1000.00 works correctly and as expected in my download area
~~

Licences - when downloading does the email always link to the standard licence or the chosen licence.  As customers may choose different licences within one purchase would it make sense to have all the licences on one page ?

Are these features going to be part of the cart manager?

- sale stats by day, week, month, year?
- download expiration

If so, is it possible that you add the ability to delete completed purchases.. not often will that be necessary but I think we should be able to delete transactions if we need.. (I have made so many test purchases and I don't want my own transactions show in sale stats)

More importantly we could approve a cart by mistake and grant the download for free and there is no way to reverse it.. not that this will happen, but the feature needs to be there..

I`ll second the request for other payment modules. I would really be happy about another possibility to pay/receive payments than paypal.
If not included in premium you maybe could code a MB, 2CO, Payza extra Module and put it on sale separately?

BTW: really great work and fast bug fixing!

Let me look into that. I've never strayed outside of paypal. I'll get right back to you.

I'll add those to the list so I can add them as I see a window.

Don't worry. I've come to enjoy the show. Just download it when you see there are no bug threads on the premium version hanging at the top of MSG.

-edit: Funny, this thread had almost sunk until I revived it right now. Either people are stable or just going easy on me. Comments?

it's just that there is no point in updating the thread while you are not here.. it makes it harder to follow :)

2.6.2? I can't even find 2.6.1 and now there's yet another update? Wish they worked correctly in the dashboard.

Will the updates be posted on symbiostock.com? I just checked and don't see them there now.

I'm looking because I've started to have errors, but not sure if they have already been fixed in 2.6.1 or 2. See other thread I started.

Woa woa woa!    1.1.6 is the latest premium version, 2.6.1 is the latest base version.

But on that note the service I use for updates is not always consistent in prompting users and I'm checking into that issue now (being that its 6 months old)
