yes.. 2.6.2 is the one that solved my watermark issue I think..

That is correct. Its not public yet though. That problem only effected you.

should I pull it from my testing domain then? would it be enough to just take the files from content/themes folder?

and same goes for 1.1.6

would it be sufficient to transfer the files from the plugins folder in my testing domain? or does the plugin install additional files elsewhere?

I just do not want to purchase buggy software. I dont want to be a beta tester. Is that wrong of me?

No, providing you quietly wait until those of us who have no problems with beta testing have reported all the bugs we can find in the knowledge that they will get fixed.  That way these bug reporting theads can contain only reports and queries instead of grumbles which will help Leo find the real problems more quickly  ;)

So should I start a new thread then? I didnt realise this thread was only for bug reporting. I am merely expressing my concerns in the only thread addressing the purchase of the premium plugin.

Ow wait, I am doing it again. See, it happens without even realising it. Ow, I just did realise it. Aaaargh.  :)

I'll be quiet.

Don't worry. I've come to enjoy the show. Just download it when you see there are no bug threads on the premium version hanging at the top of MSG.

-edit: Funny, this thread had almost sunk until I revived it right now. Either people are stable or just going easy on me. Comments?
Seems they just went easy on you.  ;) And there are other threads being opened

I disregarded the majority of those because they are setup problems and environment issues. Not directly related to the upgrade.  ;) I focus on the real issues while people work out their setup environment.

Wow - your really on the ball with the hot topics aren't you.

I'll try to get github updated btw. In the meantime I'll send you the version which was made for you.

No no, I am just following all the threads to see when things are ironed out and then I will get the plugin. I dont know what is a real issue and what not. I'll leave that up to you, you know best.

I don't know real issues vs not-real anyway. You can ask my wife. She knows best :D

Although wordpress gives you TONS of freedom, I noticed people have quite a bit of start-up challenges. I was thinking of making a stand-alone Symbioversion which is a genuine install-and-run out of the package deal. However you can expect that features will be much slimmer. But easier to use :D

I checked out your prob! It appears you've used a 'o' instead of an '0'. Very small difference. I never liked the way "O" has tried to play the part of "0"...very deceiving! But yes, thats throwing the math off. I need to just throw in an is_numeric() check.

a feature request: is it possible that file ID's are displayed to customers? It helps a lot with customer service as they can refer to files easily.. I know that from my other site.. when customers contact me, most of the times they use ID numbers..

a plugin compatibility issue: I have this plugin called "Meta slider" that I use for my homepage slider and it gives the following error:

Warning: Required call to wp_footer() not found in file /mysite :) /wp-content/themes/symbiostock/footer.php.

Please check the wp_footer() documentation and make sure your theme has a call to wp_footer() just above the closing tag.

is there something that needs to be added to the code so it is %100 compatible with the slider plugin?

I just checked to see if I had deleted wp_footer()

Its a standard requirement for themes. I'm surprised its not seeing it. I wonder if that plugin is hijacking anything. Its also possible (though unlikely) did you make any template changes that removed wp_footer()?

haven't made any template changes.. only edited the CSS file and page-customer.php to add the text "please scroll down for your downloads" :)

I just checked the footer file (2.6.2) and wp_footer(); is not there in footer.php

EDIT: there is this line: <?php wp_footer(); ?>

guess it's the same thing..

I (and others) use Meta Slider and have had no issues.  But I am on 2.5.7.

I was using it without issues too.. suddenly this message.. I am really not sure what's causing it..

I had meta slider v1.3 saved on my pc and uploaded that on my testing domain which is also on 2.6.2 and no issues..

but SY 2.6.2 and meta slider 2.2.2 for some reason gives this error..

yeap! I can confirm that

SY 2.6.2 + metaslider 1.3 = no problems at all

SY 2.6.2 + metaslider 2.2.2 = Warning: Required call to wp_footer() not found in file /mysite/wp-content/themes/symbiostock/footer.php.

Please check the wp_footer() documentation and make sure your theme has a call to wp_footer() just above the closing tag.

And LASTLY Jean's website has been taken care of. When she wakes up and reinstalls symbio she'll be up again.

Something went screwy in her .htaccess file...not related to Symbio but who knows...

I have just been playing around with extended license. I have not fully tested it but have setup the EL under Symbiostock-Licenses and edited one image to be available for EL. When I login and choose the image I get the option for SL and EL. Choosing EL adds the upgrade price to the SL price and will add it to the cart. Here are a couple of images showing the setup and what it looks like. Still thinking about the pricing and researching that a little bit. Hope the images are not too small.
