I needed help making a good "related images function". This forum admin totally wrote us a custom function -
wordpress.org/support/topic/custom-query-related-posts-by-common-tag-amount/ (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/custom-query-related-posts-by-common-tag-amount/)
So - related images widget coming soon.

I am totally amazed of the speed this whole Wordpress/ Symbiostock thing is taking off ground. If we, the community, and you, our master code whiz, keep going like this I can't even imagine where this project will be by end of this year.
It really exciting and a lot of fun.

Once it gets a little more refined and user friendly, I'm hoping a few of the "big player" contributors can start sending some attention to Symbiostock. Thats when things will get really fun.

That'll be interesting. I suspect there will be some competition for network connections. :)

This will only go on the image page - which is devoted to your sale - it doesn't share real estate with network buddies.

I was thinking more in general if/when some bigger players come aboard. :) Everyone will want them to network I think.

Thats interesting observation

And also the one network function beyond anyone's control except the linker. I think all of us "linkees" would love the visibility of being on a network set up by a big stock player. It'll be fun to see how the network side of things shakes out. Especially when this goes "public" outside the stock and microstock world. I think indy musicians, artists, etc would like this too.

Yeah - and then the darkside when people download the free theme, set it up, buy some of your images, then uploads them on their site. :D You'll never be free of the human challenges.
I've made it a point not to tell people on flickr about this too quick, or deviant art...stuff like that. Still the original artist does have the upper hand in this arena because the better part of search engine development goes toward recognizing original sources, recognizing stolen/ripped content, etc.

Yep, one of my best was stolen and is now on dozens of sites for free in countries that wo't do a darn thing about it. Part of the game unfortunately. Defence always lags behind offence.
