I just received some very good insight from someone (ajt)...just wanted to share.

Symbiostock has been a cool project, but maybe many of you can "walk away" from your sites right now and start doing what you do best again? It would accomplish two things:

1 - You've got your own stock site, and you've labored on it - so now you can get back to what you really want to do (Illustrating or Photography)!
2 - You will start populating "new content" onto your site as you get back to your microstock uploading routines. On that note - you may wish to put some exclusive stuff (not your best, just easy testing stuff) on your site to see how it does.

It would be nice actually to see Symbiostock conversations slow down a bit so I can focus on the "real" version of Symbiostock which is double what this one is.

Thanks everyone!

I'm finally able to do that.  I've finished uploading and am happy with my site for now.  Now I can work on new content.

Same for me here - all set up so far and time now to produce new content again. Will be on two exciting trips over the next 3 weeks so I am sure there will be plenty of new content on the way.

Leo, I wish you good success with the new version, cant wait to check it out! Thanks for your great efforts so far!

:D Thanks. Behind as in I still have about 500+ more images to upload. That's not counting any new images I have had waiting in the wings. Tomorrow I have to download your latest version and install though first. No breaks for me yet.  :o

Remind me what your hosting is? And what big bug do you have now that your contending with? Other than just a lot of work, is there anything in the way (other than IPTC which I will repair soon)

Thanks for your good idea, Leo. But, no thanks, I won't take a break  from my site :). It's just too exiting to explore what can be done with wordpress and your theme. And talking about being behind: I have 10 images up, 3000+ to go  ;D. No Leo, no bug is holding me up. You did marvelous work and I hope you don't feel being pushed by us too bad. Maybe just enough to keep you motivated?  ;D

This is fun. I'm really enjoying working on my sites. Plus I'm seing many new names cropping up here as well, which is really cool. I'm trying not to deck my site out too much, but it's so hard not to add more and more features. :)

Thanks for that Reef, needed a laugh.  :D

As far as design goes remember that less is more :)  Less color on your page shows off your images better.  Take good look at the image pages in particular on the big sites and see how neutral everything around the image tends to be.
