Title: how to login own website..kind of silly
Post by: mtkang on October 27, 2013, 10:41
Hi all,

I think this is kind of silly question, but how do I login my own website for managing everything?

the symbiostock is a theme of wordpress so, we will login the wordpress interface to manage everything.

I got lost a bit where to login after a while.. i use 'please log-in' link on my website and i can login to wordpress dashboard.

But isn't the 'please log-in' is for user to buy image?

got a bit confused.. I hosted the site on godaddy, so does it mean I don't need to login godaddy after I set ftp and some basic setting?

You should be able to log in both ways. Via your WP account or via your own Login/Register system.

The SYS system recognizes you as the site owner and lets you edit your own site. Other registered users don't have that option.

Are you looking for the folder name - it would be your site - eg www.backyardstockphotos.com/wp-admin/ (http://www.backyardstockphotos.com/wp-admin/)

You should then be asked for your user name and password

if I understand you right you simply have to add: wp-admin to your URL.
In the adressbar it should read:
http://www.your-site.com/wp-admin/ (http://www.your-site.com/wp-admin/)

....

when you use the login, you're set as 'admin'; when a user does, they're set to 'subscriber'
