By now, I uploaded hundreds of images, but still don't know when to "feature an image" and when not.
1. What is the difference between the Symbio Featured category (I think I understand this one) and Featured Image (with the thumbnail) ?
2. At present, the Featured Image comes as default. If I don't want all images featured, can I configure the Image Process screen so that this option (Featured Image) is unchecked?

What did you mean "feature an image", is that creating image watermark, generating image thumbnail or just processing image (http://www.rasteredge.com/dotnet-imaging/image-processing/) acorrding to to a specific requirements? I feel confused too!

Hopefully I follow your question --
The featured image category is a category for featured images. Images added there are featured... :D
When you have a featured images widget set up, featured images show in the featured images widget.
There are no featured categories, unless you invent a way to feature categories.
I've never used the word "featured" this much before!
Anyway, Symbiostock.org will get you fast answers.

The original question was posted in August. I think at that time, the system behaved slightly differently. It is much more streamlined now. So I think, we can close this thread.
