Title: small Smiley Face at the bottom left of all pages?
Post by: timd35 on August 28, 2013, 11:01: Is there any significance to the smiley face at the very bottom left of all my pages? I saw a reference to it in another thread that it might indicate a problem and was just wondering. I did not want to hijack the other thread so thought I would bring it up here for future reference for others too.

Post by: cathyslife on August 28, 2013, 13:03: Hmmm i just looked before i posted and the blue was at the bottom of the page ( safari on ipad) . Now i go back i see it. what? Just looked on my work mac safari. Nothing. Chrome, nothing. Comes and goes?

Got this off of the wordpress support site:

If you are using the JetPack plugin or the WordPress.com Stats plugin, you will see a tiny smiley face in the footer of your WordPress site.

That is a little GIF image that is connected to the code in the stats plugin to monitor the visitor activity on your WordPress pages.

I think it's always there if you don't see it try to drag the page down and see if it shows - or increase the window size
