I've been away for quite some time. Not only have I been putting in considerable effort building the "Professional version" but catching up on other life issues as well.

Occassionally I check in and I see everyone helping eachother with their Symbiostock puzzles. Things continue on nicely...and I'm pretty much not needed.

This is a wonderful thing to see! I think its a sign of overall success.

Symbiostock is unquestionably a "brand" now. Right now I'm setting up Ubuntu and I'm reminded of the wonderful potential open source has.

Anyway, keep up the good work everyone. Its a great achievement (everyone's) to see this thing running itself so nicely. Pretty soon we'll have a vastly improved version of Symbiostock out, and then after that an advanced and simplified version which does not even use Wordpress. But all in due time of course.

Mostly I just wanted to thank everyone. Great work.

+1000

The thanks definitely go to you, Leo, and to the other visionaries who dreamed up this great product with you before many of us here had ever heard of it.

Three cheers for the visionaries! Also... high-fives for those with the guts to plunge in and for those with enough knowledge to help the rest of when we feel we're spinning our wheels on something. Eventually, all the problems do seem to get resolved.

I've made a lot of progress on my own site just this past week. Still have to Yoast-ify a few hundred more images and get another 800 on the site (using Yoast from the get-go with them). But at last I've installed a slider on my home page. Got Social Logins working. Got PayPal straightened out. Set up a Privacy Policy and an Image License Agreement that I believe will work for me. Started networking with my first 3 SYS "friends". Whew! That's a lot of accomplishment in a week.

I'm very proud of what's happening on my site and for the first time have started giving out the new URL to "outside the loop" friends. Yea!!!

Thanks to you.

I've given up my Exclusivity in iStock to be able to sell on my own when I found out about Symbiostock.

Thanks for helping us.

Hi Leo,
am new to symbiostock, and trying to catch on. It seems really exciting and i want to set up my site a.s.a.p. But do you recommend a wait a little bit so to jump on the next upcoming level?  In your post you mention an upcoming new version..

Thank you!

I would get your site set up now, if you wait for one new version you might then be tempted to wait for the next, then the next etc.   If you get everything set up and loaded then you will be ready for each new release if you want it

if you're ready, get started now -- the current version is stable, and you can get your site tuned.  you can then have a better idea whether to look at the premium version
