i try to follow the symbiostock guide..

so i install wordpress in godaddy first.. do i need to register a wordpress account?

i was prompt to enter username and password and matched the password (i assume it is the process i registered a wordpress account?)

do i need to install under directory? i just leave the directory blank..

i then click install it and it seems the install takes long time, always 'installing'..i google it said it can take up to 24 hours?

i try to connect the jetpack plugin to add a 'contact me' page..

i was asked to login to wordpress.. i tried to login with the set of username and pw i generated when i install the wordpress in godaddy but fail..

i once registered with wordpress to have a free blog, then i seems able to connect the jetpack through the set of username and password, but i didn't see the 'add contact form' button under new pages..

the so many set of username and pw are confusing.. and not sure is it the reason the 'add contact form' not appearing?

i guess i need to take a break from the installation now..

try to check again tomorrow.

This sounds very similar to a problem discussed in the Symbiostock forum

You don't need to deal with Jetpack at all to get Symbiostock going - you can just deactivate the plugin for new and focus on getting WordPress installed and functioning.

I have my site running with Jetpack (so it absolutely does work) but I had an older WordPress installation which I think I installed and got running before I added Jetpack, so I don't recall the details.

See if the discussion on the Symbiostock forums helps your situation

i saw in the symbioguides.com, using FTP to upload images to a folder directory..

what is the host of my site? it is should be in godaddy setting?

i can find my username and use the password of my godaddy, but i can't figure out the host to upload to..i got some errors like this..

it shows the password pass... then..

Command:   PASS *********
Response:   530 Login authentication failed
Error:   Critical error
Error:   Could not connect to server

any guys can help?

the jetpack also doesn't work for me.. but i leave it aside first.
