added the global search to my network.   Works great. Now less "blanks" found when doing a search.

Done. It seems to make up its own mind as to what position it shows up in though. I added it to the top of my list, but it will show up in different places depending on the search. No biggie though.

I seem to remember that the different sites show up in the order of the search speed so they will often vary

which version are you using?  robin eliminated the networking aspects of symbiostock in his version

Networking is being retooled to be more powerful and have more quality control with the new Symbiostock. As the old version had certain drawbacks, the new one was released without this component off the bat.

I'm looking to integrate a site-to-site networking option prior to releasing the full Symzio platform so that site owners can benefit from each others' media sooner rather than later.

wow! thank you for your replies, It's surprising to see a separation in an application that is supposed to unite us all against the agencies. I think there has been a division too soon.

So for a newbie like me, I don't have any option sure? because I have to wait for the new version or perhaps search for and outdated plugin?

At this point, you can use the legacy to share in the old networking options or wait for the Symzio roll-out, which will be available to all Symbiostock users, hosted or standalone.

Be weary of any information you get on MSG regarding official policies - if you want answers, get them on our forum or through official reps.

the original symbiostock is still available, and at least 150 active sites are using it with no problems-.  these are the sites that are linked in the symbiostock global searches. 
not sure which other dl sites might still have it, but you can download the original symbiostock free plugin from my website at http://cascoly.com/symbio/symbiostock.zip  .  I can also can also provide licensed versions of the pro plugins Leo wrote
