Ah, perhaps I should have held off buying it until you were up and running properly.

If you could email it that would be great.

Thanks Leo

Give me your email address on sitemail. I'll get right on that. I'm working on the site tonight to get it working with purchases again.

Just back from 14 days in France without computer and smartphone, I purchased the plugin and installed it. But now I don't find the generated sitemap. Please help me to get back in the digital world  ;D

If you install the plugin you will find a new option under the ladybug menu. Did you find that?

I found a yellow field in the symbiostock-area (I guess you mean that with ladybug) indicating me that the sitemap is not generated yet. I confirmed it, but I'm not sure whether anything happend ...

If you go to Royalty Free Images -> Sitemap

There should be a button to "generate sitemap", which you click.

Then you will have a field with the sitemap link that you click, and it auto-selects. Simply paste that into google webmaster tools.

Other than that, is something malfunctioning?

Do we need to "Generate Sitemap" every time after we've added new images or will the sitemap update itself once it has been created?

For anyone using sitemaps, a new update is available.

Dashphoto gave us an opportunity to see how LARGE portfolios are handled in Symbiostock.

I did have to make an adjustment however, to how sitemaps are handled. Instead of generating 1 BIG file containing 11,000 images, we have to create a collection of 2000-image sitemaps with an index sitemap pointing to them:

just as a note --= the yoast image sitemap and yours collect just about the same number of I,ages - yoast 'finds' a few more, but your sitemap has been slightly more successful in getting images indexed -- i'm getting 20=25% indexed now, up from 10-15%.

Yoast is referencing the media pages, whereas this one is referencing the actual image page.

If you want to really have some fun check out webmaster tools - its seeing a lot of stuff on that image page. :D

Is the plugin auto-update working Leo? It still hasn't shown up as an update for my site. I'm still on 1.1.2

Good question. The service I'm using seems finicky. But you can click and update it even though it doesn't say update ready.

Wow, talk about finicky... the update just showed up, so I clicked it, it immediately white screened, then my site was lost, only showing a plain text

"Briefly unavailable for scheduled maintenance. Check back in a minute."

Had to follow these steps to fix it:

http://blog.bravi.org/?p=752

TENSE few minutes, but all is back correctly now. And the update didn't work, so I had to do it again. This time it worked

the yoast images-sitemap2.xml references the image pages and the file location using the same references as your plugin -- they present the info differently and produce slightly different results, so it's useful to have both submitting to google

I must said this is a plugin you can't miss it.

I am so impressed by the speed of my images being indexed, I purchased this plugin today around my local time 1.00pm and immediately submitted sitemap  to google webmaster tool, now 11.30pm I have total of 767 images and indexed 418 images.  I submitted yoast images sitemap around two months, so far only 223 images indexed.

Thanks Leo!
